The collective exhibition "500 years of Havana"
A gallery with art from Cuba. We are very pleased to present already the fourth exhibition. Havana celebrates 500 years in November 2019 and we show the colourful UNESCO world city from the perspective of young Cuban painters and photographers. The figurative painting is dedicated to classic themes such as oldtimers, the old town and Che Guevara, but above all to the beauty of Cuban women. The spectrum ranges from large-format paintings to hand drawings and photographs of street art. This exhibition is intended to bring Havana and the lively Cubans closer to the visitor. On Saturday, 19 October from 14-19 o'clock, the public, free vernissage will take place. The aim is to promote young Cuban artists and to bring Cuba closer to the public through their work.
The exhibition runs from 19 October to 9 November and is open from Wednesday to Friday from 13.30 - 18.30 and on Saturday from 11.00 - 17.00. There are guided tours. The entrance is free of charge.
